Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• English literacy to communicate with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter information.
• Active lifestyle; standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents after a fall.
• Criminal background cleared.

Responsibilities

• Advocate of Empathy: create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments.
• Patient Observer: discover residents’ interests and collaborate on engagement plans.
• Master of the Mise en Scène: set the stage for daily routines and events across spaces.
• Life Partner: support residents in daily activities from waking to sleep.
• Excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist with orientation of memory care team members.
