Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Tech for Arete Desert Sage Memory Care in Bend, Oregon. The role administers medications, follows physician orders, and supports direct care for residents under RN supervision.

You'll maintain accurate EMR records, monitor residents for side effects, and coordinate with nursing staff to ensure safe, personalized care plans while upholding a warm, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Caregiver and Medication Tech in Memory Care or Assisted Living.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to physician orders under supervision.
• Record medications accurately in resident records.
• Notify pharmacy or family when refills are needed and document changes in EMR.
• Monitor residents for side effects and report to Director of Health Services.
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and room.
• Assist with medical appointments and advocate for residents' needs.
