Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living is seeking a Medication Tech for Arete Desert Sage Memory Care in Bend, Oregon. The role administers medications and delivers direct resident care under RN supervision.

The position requires experience in memory care or assisted living, CPR/First Aid cert, and ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card. On-site work with a team dedicated to senior care.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Caregiver or Medication Tech in Memory Care or Assisted Living.
• CPR/First Aid certification required during employment.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications per physician orders under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Record medications administered in resident records accurately.
• Notify pharmacy or family when refills are needed.
• Maintain organized medication cart and room.
• Monitor residents for side effects and report concerns.
