Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator for Arete Desert Sage Memory Care in Bend, Oregon. You will coordinate resident care needs, manage staff schedules, and maintain clinical records in compliance with policies and regulations.

You will train Caregivers and Medication Techs, assist with daily living activities, participate in audits and QA meetings, and support transitions for new residents while maintaining warmth and professionalism for

Qualifications

• Caregiver and Medication Tech experience in Memory Care/Unit or Assisted Living preferred.
• Active CPR/First Aid Certification required.
• Food Handler's Card required.
• Experience documenting in EMR systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Licensed CNA preferred in the state of employment.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Compassionate, confidential, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident care needs and staffing, including scheduling and care logs.
• Maintain proper documentation of care plans, nurses' notes, and resident communications.
• Provide orientation and on-the-job training to Caregivers and Medication Techs.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits and resident evaluations.
• Supervise staff in absence of Director of Health Services; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Participate in QA meetings and staff development efforts.
• Maintain a warm, calm, and cheerful environment for residents and families.
