Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide daily living assistance to residents in Summerville, SC. The role includes ADL support, light housekeeping, meal attendance checks, and responding to emergencies.

You will communicate resident status and participate in activity planning while maintaining confidentiality. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication is required.
• Organized, able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Contributing member of nursing team and follow instructions.
• Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers.
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Safe lifting and transfer of residents with proper mechanics.
• Uniform during working hours (name badge).
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become within 60 days of hire.
• Represent the community positively.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain working knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Perform housekeeping: beds, apartments, common areas, dining room.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Remain calm during emergencies and assist activity planning.
• Follow confidentiality policies for resident information.
• Assist residents to and from dining room and activities.
• Communicate status, appointments, admissions, and transfers in writing and verbally.
• Assist new residents with move-in transition and emotional support.
• Other duties as assigned.
