Arete Living in Oregon City is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct medical care in memory care and assisted living. You will manage medications, supervise frontline staff, assess health, and communicate with families and physicians.

The ideal candidate brings strong clinical skills, leadership, and a passion for elder care in a long-term setting. This on-site role offers day shifts and a supportive care environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold an active LPN license in Oregon.
• Experience in assisted living, Alzheimer/dementia, long-term care.
• Knowledge of CMS and state regulations.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration: safely prepare, document, and monitor meds.
• Health monitoring: assess residents, monitor vitals, track changes.
• Memory care focus: support dementia-related needs and behaviors.
• Care plan execution: follow ISPs and adjust to changes.
• Staff supervision: guide CNAs and caregivers during routines.
• Family/doctor liaison: communicate updates and orders.
• Resident assessments: evaluate needs and update plans.
• Training: mentor staff on dementia care and safety.
• Daily oversight: ensure routines are followed consistently.
• Advocacy: support residents and connect to resources.
