Job summary

Maggie’s Place Memory Care is seeking a Life Services Coordinator - Caregiver to join the Kennybrook Village team in Grimes, IA. You’ll support residents with daily living tasks, lead activities, and help maintain independence in a memory care setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meals, and social/ recreation activities, while following safety and infection control guidelines and collaborating with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1-2 years’ experience with individuals with dementia.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provides services to tenants as assigned per Resident Service Plans (e.g., grooming, dressing guidance, bathing).
• Report tenant changes to the nurse and monitor health status per procedures.
• Maintain activity calendar and engage tenants in activities (spiritual, educational, games, music, physical).
• Provide companionship and assist with meals, laundry, cleaning, and housekeeping as needed.
• Follow safety policies and infection control guidelines; participate in meetings and trainings.
