Job summary

Northridge Village in Ames, IA is seeking a Life Services Coordinator - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified to join Maggie’s Place Memory Care. You will deliver person-centered assistance with daily living tasks, medications, and social activities, supporting resident independence.

Responsibilities include coordinating meals, monitoring health status, documenting changes, and engaging residents through tailored activities while upholding safety policies and CMS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-2 years’ previous experience working with individuals with dementia, preferably in a memory care setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Medication Manager OR Certified Medication Aide recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to tenants per Resident Service Plans, including medication reminders.
• Report significant tenant changes to the nurse.
• Monitor changes in tenant needs and health status and document changes.
• Prepare and serve meals/snacks; monitor expiration dates and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Maintain activity calendar and engage tenants in spiritual, educational, games, music and physical activities.
• Provide companionship and work with minimal supervision in a team setting.
• Follow safety policies and infection control guidelines and attend meetings/trainings.
