The position involves documenting care, collaborating with the memory care team, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment. Salary ranges from $18 to $24.25 per hour with a full-time schedule and benefits participation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Computer skills to print and enter resident information.
• Role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping.
• Ability to frequently lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing and walking, including after a fall.
• Criminal background check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Advocate empathy by creating human connections with residents.
• Act as patient observer to learn residents' interests and strengths.
• Set up environments and engage residents through daily routines.
• Partner with residents to support daily life from wake to sleep.
• Document resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist with orientation of memory care team members.
