Brothers of Mercy is seeking a compassionate Life Enrichment team member to develop and lead engaging programs for residents. You will work within HIPAA and facility policies, lead daily group activities, and help plan a monthly calendar while maintaining records and collaborating with staff and volunteers.

A valid NYS driver's license is required, with a one-year recreation or long-term care background preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have one year experience in a recreation setting or long-term care setting.
• Experience working with residents with cognitive impairments preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily group activities and periodic evening/weekend/holiday programs.
• Assist with creating diverse and engaging programs and planning the monthly calendar.
• Conduct 1:1 programs as well as group programs and maintain attendance records.
• Report health or participation changes to Life Enrichment Director and Health Services staff.
• Maintain supplies and inventory; participate in departmental studies and projects as directed.
