Job summary

Cogir USA is seeking a Memory Care Lifestyle Coordinator to design and deliver meaningful life enrichment programs for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. This role emphasizes social engagement, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well‑being, requiring compassion, patience, and the ability to work with memory-impaired individuals.

The candidate should have at least 1–2 years of experience with seniors, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a care‑driven

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) or Montessori training is a plus.
• Experience with seniors and memory care environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate group and one-on-one activities for memory care residents.
• Coordinate daily activities including music therapy, reminiscence, art, and exercise.
• Adapt activities for inclusivity and varying cognitive abilities.
• Collaborate with care team to align activities with individualized care plans.
• Plan special events and seasonal activities tailored to memory care residents.
• Document participation and outcomes of activities as required.
• Support caregiving team during meals and breaks.
• Assist in the Resident Lifestyle Director and Memory Care Director as needed.
