Job summary

Cogir Senior Living, a leader in senior housing, seeks a Memory Care Lifestyle Coordinator (Activity Assistant) to plan and deliver meaningful programs for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. You’ll foster social engagement, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being, tailoring activities to individual interests while collaborating with the care team.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience with seniors, is patient, compassionate, and able to work flexible shifts, including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Dementia Practitioner or Montessori training is a plus.
• Experience with seniors/dementia preferred; strong communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group and one-on-one programs aligned with residents' cognitive abilities and interests.
• Develop and conduct daily activities for memory care residents (music therapy, reminiscence, art, exercise).
• Coordinate activities with the care team to complement care plans and plan special events.
