Job summary

NHC Place Sumner Assisted Living in Gallatin, TN seeks a dedicated Life Enrichment / Recreation Assistant to design and deliver engaging wellness activities for residents across memory care and rehab settings.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, and maintaining documentation while ensuring compliance with regulations. This full-time position emphasizes teamwork, creativity, and community engagement for a supportive living environment.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated, creative with positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm.
• Must be able to work with family members, partners, and the community.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a wellness program for Long Term Care, Memory Care or Rehab patients (may require weekend/holiday hours).
• Timely completion of assessments, care plans and related paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal guidelines for programming.
• Bring energy and enjoyment to activities.
• Other duties as assigned
