National HealthCare Corporation's NHC Place Sumner Assisted Living in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Life Enrichment / Recreation Assistant to support residents in Long Term Care and Memory Care. The part-time role focuses on delivering meaningful activities, fostering wellness, and creating a fun, caring environment.

The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, patient, and able to coordinate calendars and light marketing materials using Word and Publisher.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and with other departments.
• Basic typing and computer skills; familiarity with Word and Publisher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a wellness program for long-term care and memory care residents.
• Complete assessments, care plans and related paperwork timely.
• Ensure programming complies with local, state and federal guidelines.
• Bring fun to activities and engage residents daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
