Job summary

Monarch Communities in Livingston, NJ is seeking a dedicated caregiver supervisor for its assisted living community. The role partners with the Assisted Living Director to orient and train new Care Managers and to assist residents with daily life per their care plans.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, arranging replacements, assisting with medication administration per state regulations, and delivering resident care such as bathing, dressing and feeding while maintaining safety and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years resident care experience.
• Knowledge of NJ state regulations and dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Care Managers and assigns shift duties
• Acts as a mentor and role model for all Care Managers
• Assists with finding replacements for shift call-outs
• Assists with medication administration (NJ) per state regulations
• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding per care plans
• Maintain safety, dignity, and confidentiality of residents
• Escort residents to meals and activities as needed
• Ensure residents are clean, dressed, safe, and fed during shifts
• Document services provided during your shift
• Monitor changes in residents' condition and report to supervisor
• Participate in in-service training and ensure regulatory compliance
• Other duties as assigned
