Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Care Manager Supervisor to work closely with the Assisted Living Director in a Livingston, NJ community. You will orient and train new Care Managers and support residents with daily activities per their care plan.

Responsibilities include supervising shifts, mentoring staff, assisting with shift replacements, and aiding with medication administration while ensuring safety, dignity, and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• 3 years resident care experience required.
• Maintain state licensing requirements, where applicable.
• Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population; dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Care Managers and assigns shift duties.
• Acts as a mentor and role model for all Care Managers in the community.
• Assists the Assisted Living Director with finding replacements for shift call-outs.
• Assists with medication administration (N.J.), in compliance with state regulations and Certification.
• Provide resident care to residents that include bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in their care plan
• Maintains the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents
• Encourages and escorts residents to meals and activities
• Ensures all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts
• Documents all services provided to assigned residents during your shift
• Monitors and reports any change of condition in a resident immediately to your supervisor
• Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled
• Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
