Vitalia Active Adult Community at North Olmsted in North Olmsted, OH is seeking a Memory Care Homemaker to help create a welcoming, homelike atmosphere in memory care and assist residents with daily activities.

The full-time position offers shifts Tue–Sat, 10:00am–6:00pm, with pay range $18.00–$24.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) match, health/dental/vision, disability, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional in appearance and conduct.
• English proficiency at 8th grade level or higher with Residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward Residents.
• Must be active; standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post-fall assistance.
• Criminal clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Keeper of the Home: create a welcoming, homelike, tidy atmosphere in apartments and common areas.
• Mealtime Maven: assist in dining room, serve family-style meals, guide residents to participate.
• Snack Specialist: ensure residents have snacks and hydration three times daily.
• Caring Connector: engage residents in meaningful activities within the Neighborhood.
