Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Washington, MO is seeking a Health and Wellness Director to lead the clinical team, oversee all nursing services, and ensure exceptional, resident-centered care with compassion. You will supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs and collaborate with administrators to align assessments, care plans, training, and regulatory compliance, all while fostering a safe, home-like living environment.

Qualifications

• Current state nursing license (LPN) required.
• Experience in nursing leadership, preferably in senior living or long-term care.
• Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage both administrative and hands-on nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical supervision and administration of all nursing services.
• Implement and maintain nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide clinical guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members.
• Collaborate with community administrators to ensure orientation and training for staff.
• Conduct regular resident assessments and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Americare regulations.
• Manage medication systems and ensure they meet regulatory guidelines and resident needs.
• Promote quality assurance and maintain a safe, home-like environment.
