Washington Place Memory Care in Washington, MO, is seeking an LPN Health and Wellness Director to lead the clinical team, oversee nursing services, and ensure exceptional, resident-centered care in a supportive, family-like community.

You will supervise staff, maintain compliant care plans, manage medication systems, and partner with administrators to provide orientation, training, and continuous quality improvement. Americare’s values of respect and compassion guide daily work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical supervision and administration of all nursing services.

Your Role as the Health and Wellness Director

As the Health and Wellness Director, you’ll lead the clinical team to ensure exceptional care for our residents. You’ll oversee all nursing services, providing supervision and guidance while maintaining compliance with policies, regulations, and Americare’s high standards. Collaborating with other departments, you’ll manage assessments, care plans, and staff development, ensuring smooth operations. Your leadership will play a key role in fostering a safe, home-like environment while supporting the well-being of both residents and team members.

This Role May Also Be Known As

LPN Director of Nursing, Assisted Living Nurse Manager, Memory Care Nurse Leader, Clinical Nurse Supervisor, or Wellness Director.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the clinical supervision and administration of all nursing services.

• Provide clinical guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members.

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Americare regulations.

What You Bring

• Licensure: A current state nursing license (LPN).
• Experience: A proven track record in nursing leadership, preferably in senior living or long-term care environments.
• Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage both the administrative and hands-on aspects of nursing care.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work closely with staff, administrators, and families.
• Commitment: A passion for senior care, adherence to Americare’s mission, and dedication to providing a high quality of life for residents.

Physical Demands

• Stand, sit, walk, bend, and change positions frequently.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. and assist in transferring residents as needed.
• Push/pull up to 100 lbs. and maneuver wheelchairs (up to 350 lbs.).
• Assist in lowering residents to the floor during falls.
• Use safety equipment, including gait belts and mechanical lifts.
• Perform tasks requiring good vision, hearing, and verbal communication.
