Capetown Memory Care in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks a Health and Wellness Director (LPN/Director of Nursing) to lead the clinical team and ensure exceptional resident care in a memory care setting.

You will supervise nursing services, guide staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and partner with administrators to keep care plans and assessments current while maintaining a home-like, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Licensure: A current state nursing license (LPN).
• Experience: Proven track record in nursing leadership, preferably in senior living or long-term care environments.
• Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, leadership, and ability to manage admin and hands-on care.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork to work with staff, admins, and families.
• Commitment: Passion for senior care and Americare’s mission to provide high quality life for residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical supervision and administration of all nursing services.
• Implement and maintain nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide clinical guidance to nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs and others).
• Collaborate with community administrators to ensure orientation and training.
• Conduct regular resident assessments and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Americare regulations.
• Manage medication systems to meet regulatory guidelines.
• Support quality assurance by maintaining standards and safe environment.
