Job summary

The Alden Network seeks a Memory Care Aide to support a holistic, person-centered Memory Care Program for residents with dementia. The role focuses on providing therapeutic activities and maintaining the highest quality of life within the Memory Care Unit.

Applicants should have healthcare experience, a high school diploma, and comfort communicating with residents, families, and staff in English. The position requires empathy, reliability, and a willingness to learn about dementia care.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of experience in a healthcare field.
• Must have three months of experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia populations.
• Ability to communicate Memory Care Program to community, families and professionals.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a holistic, person-centered memory care program for residents.
• Support memory care activities and therapy to enhance quality of life.
• Complete required activity participation and documentation.
• Encourage family involvement and participate in Family Council as appropriate.
• Deliver compassionate, empathetic care while adhering to policies and procedures.
