Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to lead engaging programs for residents, tailored to individuals with memory care needs. The role involves planning activities, coordinating community outings, and collaborating with family members to enhance quality of life.

You will work closely with the Memory Care Director to develop schedules, document resident progress, and ensure safety protocols while using technology to improve engagement across the community.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience working with individuals who have Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia – Memory Care Only.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, related dementia-causing diseases, and disease progression – Memory Care Only.
• Ability to facilitate dignified, purposeful, and individualized programming to meet the needs of residents, family, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and promote resident engagement activities.
• Coordinate outings and events with community partners.
• Develop monthly engagement calendars with Memory Care Director.
• Communicate observations about resident changes to the team.
• Assist with resident life journals and family communications.
