Job summary

Rm Mgmt is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Life Enrichment Assistant for our 106-unit assisted living community, including a memory care neighborhood. You will plan and facilitate engaging daily activities that nurture memory, social connection, and personal meaning for residents.

We value creativity, teamwork, and a commitment to Alzheimer’s education and certification, with weekend and occasional holiday scheduling as needed to support a warm, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for working with older adults and memory care.
• Positive, patient, compassionate approach to resident engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to connect with residents at various cognitive levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating engaging daily activities for memory care and assisted living residents.
• Create meaningful opportunities for residents to socialize, express themselves, and maintain purpose.
• Support individualized life enrichment programming reflecting residents’ interests and abilities.
• Help develop dementia-friendly activities promoting cognitive, social, physical, and emotional well-being.
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families; respect choices and independence.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a welcoming, person-centered environment.
• Assist with special events, celebrations, outings, and community programs.
