Job summary

Brookdale Ithaca is seeking a Memory Care Program Director to oversee quality of life for residents and family engagement. You will design monthly calendar programs for memory care residents and ensure that the dementia care program standards and engagement team standards are met.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of Alzheimer's and dementia programming experience in a residential setting, plus supervisory experience including hiring and coaching.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct programming experience for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia.
• Experience planning activities for older adults with dementia.
• Supervisory experience including interviewing, hiring, disciplining and terminating staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality of life for residents and family engagement.
• Create monthly calendar programs for memory care residents.
• Ensure dementia care program standards and engagement team standards are met.
• Lead and supervise engagement staff as needed.
