Job summary

Brookdale Ithaca is seeking a Memory Care Program Director to oversee the quality of life for residents and family engagement. You will be responsible for creating the monthly calendar programs for memory care residents, ensuring that dementia care program standards and engagement team standards are met.

The role focuses on leading the engagement team, hiring and training staff, and collaborating with the management team to ensure resident satisfaction, safety, and adherence to Brookdale

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience with residents with Alzheimer's & Dementia in a residential setting.
• Experience in programming & event planning for older adults with Alzheimer's and/or Dementia.
• Supervisory & management experience; including interviewing, hiring, disciplining & terminating staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality of life for residents and family engagement, ensuring program standards are met.
• Create the monthly calendar programs for memory care residents and lead the engagement team.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff; manage budgets, contracts, and community partnerships.
• Ensure dementia care and engagement programs align with Brookdale’s BEST standards and safety policies.
