Job summary

Sunscape Boca Raton is seeking a Memory Care Director to oversee daily operations of the memory care neighborhood and lead the activity program for residents. You will supervise a team, coordinate with the Wellness Director, and ensure high-quality care and engaging programming seven days a week.

The role requires an associate degree in recreation or related field (or equivalent experience), strong communication skills, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in recreation or related field required (or two years of college in recreation-related area).
• Valid state driver license with clean driving record.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Basic typing skills and computer knowledge (MS Word).
• Physically able to bend, reach, and lift up to 40–50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized and diversified activity program for residents.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the memory care neighborhood.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to team members.
• Provide outstanding services to residents, families, and visitors.
• Schedule activities in advance and coordinate with General Manager.
• Develop staffing schedules and manage budget targets.
• Ensure safety policies and emergency procedures are followed.
