Job summary

Heritage Communities seeks a Memory Support Director to lead a Montessori-inspired memory care neighborhood in Omaha. You will create personalized care experiences, mentor the care team, and ensure compassionate, resident-centered service.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, updating care plans, and collaborating with ED, healthcare partners, and regulatory professionals to maintain high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience and knowledge of health-related practices related to dementia or cognitive impairment.
• 1+ years of management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management, and daily supervision.
• An associate's degree in nursing, social work, or another health-related field (preferred).
• A Montessori Certification, or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead our Montessori-inspired memory care program and create personalized resident experiences.
• Conduct resident evaluations before move-in and during residence to tailor care plans.
• Train and mentor caregivers, fostering compassion, teamwork, and dementia education.
• Monitor care quality, observations, documentation, and response times for improvements.
