Job summary

Oakmont Management Group seeks a Memory Care Director to lead our Traditions neighborhood with a holistic, resident-centered approach. You will oversee care delivery, activities, and dining while ensuring regulatory compliance and collaboration with culinary and health services teams.

The role emphasizes guiding a dementia-focused program, developing personalized care plans, and maintaining high-quality experiences for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience working with persons with dementia.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience supervising and managing employees.
• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years in social services/residential care/related field.
• Dementia care certifications (CDP/CAC/CAE/CDCM) or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Ensures compliance with state regulations (Title 22) for memory care.
• Manages recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and retention of memory care staff.
• Coordinates staffing to meet resident needs and company standards.
• Engages with residents, families, and staff with tact and friendliness.
• Supports resident participation in activities and dining.
• Collaborates with Health Services Director on assessments and care plans.
• Coordinates incidental medical, dental, vision, and podiatry care for residents.
• Partners with healthcare professionals on resident care as needed.
