Job summary

Solera Senior Living in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Director of Memory Care for the Edgeworth Park at New Town community. You will lead the Memory Care program, oversee assessments, care planning, staffing, and family support, ensuring exceptional clinical and emotional care for residents with dementia.

As a key liaison among residents, families, physicians, and partners, you will drive staff development, maintain compliance, and promote a safe, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework in gerontology, nursing, social work, or related field.
• Licensed nursing or healthcare professional license strongly preferred.
• Experience in residential memory care or dementia programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and evaluate the Memory Care program per Solera standards.
• Conduct resident assessments and create individualized care plans.
• Lead, train, and supervise Memory Care staff with ongoing dementia education.
• Coordinate family communication and community partnerships.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safe, engaging environment.
