Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Memory Care Director to lead the Traditions neighborhood with a holistic approach to dementia care, partnering with residents to optimize independence and quality of life. The role focuses on care delivery, activities, and dining experiences tailored to individual plans.

You will work with culinary, health services, and activities teams to develop personalized care plans and ensure high standards of service in a supported, engaging environment.

Formación

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience working with persons with dementia.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience supervising and managing employees.
• BA/S in Gerontology, psychology, sociology, or related field or at least 3 years working in social services, residential care, psychiatric facility, or related setting.
• Residential Care Facility for the Elderly administrators’ license may be required.
• Must hold or obtain certifications related to dementia care (e.g., CDP, CAC, CAE, CDCM, Montessori).
• Able to obtain and maintain valid first aid and CPR certification.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler’s certification.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests per regulatory guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains a safe and secure environment for all team members, residents, and guests.
• Ensures compliance with state regulations concerning memory care (Title 22).
• Oversees recruitment, interviews, hires, onboards, trains, motivates, and retains memory care staff.
• Coordinates staff schedules to meet resident needs and company standards.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Supports resident participation in activities and daily dining experiences with the Culinary team.
• Collaborates with Health Services Director on pre-admission assessments and reassessments.
• Assists in coordinating incidental medical, dental, vision, hearing, and podiatry care for residents.
• Partners with physicians, discharge planners, nurses, and state agencies as needed.
