Job summary

QSL Management seeks a compassionate Director of Memory Care to enrich the lives of memory-impaired residents through engaging programs and empathetic leadership. Lead with integrity to ensure dignity and safety in a memory care-focused long-term care setting.

You will oversee staffing, training, and activity programming while collaborating with wellness leadership to tailor individualized care plans and maintain regulatory compliance for a rapidly expanding organization.

Qualifications

• LPN certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with seniors, preferably in memory care.
• Be a licensed nurse or hold equivalent credential (LPN) or be a Certified Dementia Care Practitioner/Montessori Dementia Care Practitioner; experience in leadership roles is a plus.
• A caring heart and genuine desire to serve memory-impaired seniors.
• Must have and maintain a safe driving record.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Memory Care Neighborhood in daily staffing meetings and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations; participate in regulatory surveys and respond to requests.
• Lead in-service and monthly staff meetings and ensure state training requirements are met.
• Develop personalized service plans reflecting residents’ preferences; document care and monitor health status.
• Deliver a structured daily activity program for memory-impaired residents and oversee activity staff.
