Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Ridgefield, CT seeks a compassionate CNA to provide direct resident care in a warm, home‑like environment. You will support daily living activities and document care accurately.

In this Part-time role (7am–3pm), you’ll engage residents in meaningful activities, deliver emotional support, and collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality care. Prior dementia experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred.
• Dementia care experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Part-time 7am - 3pm

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
