Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential care to residents. You will assist with daily living activities, ensure residents’ comfort, and engage them in meaningful activities within a supportive environment.

This position offers numerous benefits including paid training, a retirement plan with company match, and vacation time. You will need a valid CNA license and will work primarily the night shift with alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community preferred.
• Available to work 11pm-7am with every other weekend.

• Assist residents with daily living activities like bathing and grooming.
• Document care and report changes in resident health.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
• 11pm-7am with every other weekend
• Starting rate $19.00 Hourly
