Job summary

John Knox Village in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for the Blue Team on the Memory Care Unit in the Village Care Center. The role involves direct resident care, following facility policies, and contributing to PRIDE values. Training hours will be completed as required.

Qualifications

• Requires MO CNA certification for MO applicants; KS CNA and Home Health Aide certification for KS.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care to residents, assisting with ADLs within scope of practice.
• Accurately checks and records temperatures, pulses, respirations and blood pressures; weighs residents and records weights.
• Ensures residents are clean, dry and comfortable.
• Reports resident information to supervising nurse or manager timely.
• Completes charting forms and documents nursing care per state and Village requirements.
• May perform custodial, housekeeping, food service, and wheelchair escort duties as needed.
• Assists residents with eating when necessary.
• Participates in case conferences related to residents’ goals and care.
• Adheres to safety regulations and departmental procedures.
