Job summary

New Mark Rehab and Healthcare Center invites a compassionate Memory Care CNA to join our dedicated nursing team in Missouri. This full-time role focuses on memory care for residents with dementia, providing ADL assistance, companionship, and a safe environment.

The successful candidate will have Missouri CNA certification, experience in memory care, and a patient-centered approach. Vaccination against COVID-19 is preferred or willing to vaccinate. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Missouri.
• Experience in memory care or dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to residents and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Support residents living with dementia or memory-related conditions.
• Encourage socialization and participation in activities for emotional well‑being.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and daily care tasks.
• Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment.
• Exercise patience and understanding with memory loss or behavior changes.
• Document food and fluid intake and assist with meals to support nutrition.

Position Details

• Position: Memory Care Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

• Status: Full-Time

• Shift: 12-hour / 4:3 schedule – FLEXIBLE

CNA Job Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in the state of Missouri

• Previous memory care or dementia care experience preferred

• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach to resident care

• Completed COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to receive vaccination

• High school diploma or equivalent

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, personalized care to residents while assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Provide compassionate support to residents living with dementia and other memory-related conditions

• Encourage residents to socialize and participate in activities that support their emotional and overall well-being

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and other daily care needs

• Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment where residents can thrive

• Use patience, compassion, and understanding when working with residents experiencing memory loss or changes in behavior

• Pass out meal trays and document food and fluid intake

• Assist residents with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration

• Make beds and maintain clean, organized, and comfortable resident spaces

• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to the nursing staff

• Perform additional tasks as needed to support the daily care and well-being of our residents
