Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Troy, MO is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for our Memory Care community on a part-time, on-site basis. You will administer prescribed medications under supervision, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain resident safety in a home-like setting.

Working under licensed staff, you’ll support dignity and continuity of care for memory-impaired residents, while collaborating with a caring team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of CMA program meeting state requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision.
• Verify resident identity and document dosage and times.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report concerns.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Recognize changes in resident condition and inform staff.
• Maintain accurate care documentation as ordered.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as required.
• Support coworkers and participate in light housekeeping as needed.
