Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / Level One) to support Memory Care residents in Missouri. You will administer medications under licensed supervision and assist with daily living activities to maintain a safe, home-like environment.

The role emphasizes medication safety, teamwork, and resident-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, with opportunities for professional growth and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with certification in the State of Missouri.
• Willingness to complete Med Level One training at the community, if applicable.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff in accordance with Missouri regulations.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and promptly report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Accurately observe, record, and report resident care, conditions, concerns, and food intake/output.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed.
