Americare Senior Living in Missouri Memory Care communities seeks a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / Level One) to safely administer medications and support residents with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with Missouri certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff per Missouri regulations.
• Verify resident identity before administration and document dosage, time and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, meals and mobility.
• Observe, record and report resident care, conditions, concerns, and intake/output.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Complete admission, discharge and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
• Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and assist with tours of the community as needed.
