Qualifications

• Must complete 12 hours of continuing education.
• Must be fluent in English and able to read care plans and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Implements and supports resident care plans and assists with activities of daily living.
• Provides for residents' physical care including transfers, bathing, hygiene, toileting, meals.
• Changes bed linens, handles laundry, and maintains resident room cleanliness.
• Takes vital signs at intervals and reports changes to leadership as appropriate.
• Facilitates resident activities and supports new resident integration.
• Engages residents in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Completes incident reports and responds to emergencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
