Autumn Leaves in Aurora, IL is seeking a caregiver to provide compassionate, high-quality care for residents on site. You will assist with daily living activities, help with meals, hygiene, and mobility, and support residents’ wellbeing.

The role requires a high school diploma, English fluency, and ability to work with a team. You will follow care plans, maintain a tidy environment, and communicate with staff and families as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete 12 hours of continuing education – provided through community in-services.
• Must be fluent in English and read/interpret safety and procedures documents.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence.
• Must work with staff toward resident care.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Implement and support resident care plans.
• Provide physical care including lifting, bathing, hygiene, toileting and meals.
• Transfer residents in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, and vehicles.
• Change bed linens and assist with laundry and tidiness of rooms.
• Facilitate resident group activities and care conferences.
• Engage residents in conversations and activities related to interests.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and common areas; support housekeeping duties.
• Maintain professional conduct: uniforms, punctuality, confidentiality, and communication.
• Respond promptly to resident care needs; monitor changes and report to leadership.
• Complete incident reports and respond to emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
