Senior Lifestyle in Oak Brook, IL is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate support to memory care residents. The role includes helping with daily living activities, participating in individual and group activities, and assisting with mealtime and light housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood.

Applicants should have experience with dementia, be able to communicate in English, and may need a CNA/CHHA license depending on state.

Qualifications

Experience working with seniors with dementia is preferred.
Good English proficiency to perform duties and communicate with staff.
CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
Basic computer skills: Outlook, Excel and Word.
Must be compassionate, kind, engaging and helpful.
Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and support to residents.
AssistMemory Care residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility).
Participate in and lead one-on-one and group activities.
Assist with mealtime, memory care laundry, and basic housekeeping in memory care neighborhood.
Address resident/family/employee concerns promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with residents, visitors, and coworkers.
