Job summary

Oakmont Management Group seeks an Activities Coordinator for the Memory Care unit at Ivy Park at Seal Beach. The role supports organization, scheduling, promoting, and directing activities to enhance residents’ independence and life quality.

The position is full-time (Tue–Sat, 9:00am–5:30pm) with a pay range of $18.00–$20.00 per hour, plus eligible benefits. Candidates should be 18+, with a HS diploma and ideally 1 year of senior activity coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating activities with seniors.
• Must be able to drive community vehicles.
• Proficient in MS Office programs.
• Vaccination and health safety protocols may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director by organizing engaging activities and outings.
• Promote resident participation through scheduled events and clubs.
• Communicate with residents, families, visitors, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint)

Class C driver license

Class B driver license preferred
