Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care at The Ivy Castle Rock. You will organize and promote activities and excursions to enhance residents’ independence and quality of life, within the Traditions Memory Care unit.

The role supports the Memory Care Director and requires strong communication, safety awareness, and the ability to drive community vehicles. Schedule: Tue–Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; pay range: $20.00–$21.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in providing an engaging social atmosphere with activities and events.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with other departments.
