Job summary

Oakmont of Camarillo, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care. The role involves organizing and promoting engaging activities and excursions to enhance residents' independence and quality of life within Traditions Memory Care.

You will assist the Memory Care Director and work Sunday–Thursday, 8:30am–5:00pm. The position requires a high school diploma, 1 year of relevant experience, and a valid driver license (Class C, Class B preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred one year of experience coordinating activities with seniors.
• Current Class C driver license; Class B preferred for transporting residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere with activities, excursions, events, and classes.
• Promote resident participation and coordinate a variety of activities and clubs.
• Maintain a safe environment and communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to drive community vehicles and support teamwork across departments.
