Job summary

Oakmont of Roseville is seeking an Activity Coordinator for the Memory Care unit to organize, schedule, promote, facilitate, and direct activities and excursions that enhance residents' independence and quality of life.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ years old, and preferably one year of senior activity coordination. Must have a valid Class C (Class B preferred) driver license and be proficient with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Memory Care Director in providing an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the secured Traditions area. Promoting resident participation through regularly scheduled high-quality activities, excursions, special events, guest speakers, movie showings, exercise sessions, the establishment of clubs, games, art and creativity opportunities, educational classes and other such activities.
