Morningside House in Exton, PA is seeking a Memory Care Activities Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and lead engaging activities for residents with dementia. You will support the Memory Care Director with administrative tasks and daily caregiving as needed.

Schedule is Sunday–Thursday, 8am–4pm. The role offers growth opportunities within Memory Care and a collaborative team focused on quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in activities planning, senior living, dementia care, or related field.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for seniors.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Creative mindset to engage residents at varying cognitive levels.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, and lead daily activities and enrichment programs tailored to residents with dementia.
• Lead group and one-on-one engagement, including games, music, crafts, exercise, and events.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and encourage participation.
• Assist with decorating, event setup, and special community events.
• Collaborate with nursing, caregiving, dining, and life enrichment teams to support quality of life.
• Provide direct care to residents when needed.
• Maintain activity calendars, participation records, and required documentation.
• Support the Director with scheduling, supplies, and administrative tasks.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and departmental initiatives.
• Observe and report resident changes and engagement to leadership.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.
• Serve as a positive leader and role model within Memory Care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
