Job summary

Providence Place Senior Living in Pottsville, PA is seeking an Activities Associate (Memory Support - PT) to lead engaging activities for residents showing early signs of dementia. This position is part-time with morning to evening shifts, promoting independence and a sense of accomplishment.

You will work with the Activities and Caregiver staff to promote residents’ quality of life and dignity, guiding cognitive exercises and social programs while documenting participation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to attend activities and review the daily calendar.
• Lead cognitive exercises such as Memory Magic, Time Slips, Poetry, Book Clubs, Art Therapy.
• Transport and accompany residents on outings.
• Maintain documentation of resident participation in programs.
• Assist with projects and programs as assigned.
