Job summary

Morningside House in Exton, PA is seeking a caring Memory Care Activities Coordinator/Assistant Memory Care Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and lead engaging activities for residents with dementia. You will also assist the Memory Care Director with administrative tasks and daily care as needed.

This role suits patient, creative individuals who want to grow into leadership within Memory Care, with opportunities to learn new skills, support a dedicated team, and contribute to residents’ quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in activities planning or dementia care.
• Compassionate, patient demeanor with seniors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Creative mindset for engaging residents at varying cognitive levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead daily activities and enrichment programs.
• Lead group and one-on-one engagement including games, music, crafts, sensory activities, exercise, social events, and themed programming.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and encourage participation.
• Assist with decorating, event setup, and community events.
• Maintain activity calendars and records; support department with scheduling and supplies.
• Provide direct care to residents when needed.
