Morningside House in Exton, PA seeks a Memory Care Activities Coordinator to plan, lead, and enrich activities for residents with dementia. You’ll partner with the Memory Care Director and assist with select administrative tasks while supporting daily care as needed.

The role emphasizes engagement, relationship building, and teamwork with nursing, dining, and life enrichment staff, with opportunities for leadership growth in Memory Care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in activities planning or dementia care.
• Compassionate, patient and creative with seniors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Interest in leadership development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead daily activities for residents with dementia.
• Lead group and one-on-one engagement (games, music, crafts, exercise).
• Build relationships and encourage participation.
• Assist with decorating, event setup, and holiday programming.
• Collaborate with nursing, dining, and life enrichment teams.
• Provide direct care when needed.
• Maintain activity calendars and records.
• Support department organization and scheduling.
• Assist with onboarding and training.
• Observe behavior changes and report to leadership.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Serve as a positive leader in Memory Care.
• Participate in ongoing training.
