Job summary

Country Meadows in Hershey, PA is seeking a Memory Care Activities Coordinator to create meaningful experiences for Assisted Living residents and lead engaging activities that promote pride and purpose.

You will collaborate with colleagues to plan events and outings, encourage participation, and foster an energetic, compassionate atmosphere while supporting the wellbeing of older adults.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience in group socialization or recreational programs preferred.
• Energetic, personable, positive, enthusiastic and imaginative leadership style.
• Ability to communicate intentions and directions to residents and co-workers.
• Strong motivational skills to positively influence resident participation.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations in the past three years.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this role.

Responsibilities

• Generate ideas for new and favorite experiences.
• Drive residents’ interest in a dynamic lifestyle to promote pride and purpose.
• Venture out with residents to theaters, museums, events, restaurants and more.
• Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator to plan on/offsite events.
• Promote a positive, enthusiastic environment to motivate resident engagement.
